EFAP, PRPRA and Sun Life Benefits – Information for Retirees
EFAP Coverage – Homewood Health
Unlike Sun Life benefits, services offered through your Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) are available for 1 (one) year post-retirement only, regardless of age. For those who qualify, contact Homewood Health at 1-800-663-1142.
Should you require support or assistance on conclusion of coverage, please contact Tracy Coulter, 908C - Coordinator, EFAP & Addictions
Offers of support will include access to clinicians currently utilized by the Organizational Wellness Team, as well as community-based resources where available.
PRPRA
Members have the option of joining the Peel Regional Police Retirees Association (PRPRA) on retirement. For nominal sign-up and yearly renewal fees, members will receive the following:
- Membership to the Peel Pensioners Association of Ontario (PPAO) and all related discount opportunities
- Access to both the PRPA and PRPRA websites
- Email copies of EARS and TWIP articles as released
- The option to attend 4 (four) meetings per year
